Hotel technology solution provider SHR, Sceptre Hospitality Resources, has teamed up with Google to provide its clients with the search giant’s newest product, Free Booking Links. Free Booking Links appear organically in Google search results when users search for hotels and can be used to drive traffic directly to the hotel, avoiding costly OTA commissions.

Free booking links appear on the hotel booking module alongside hotel ads when travelers look for rooms at a given hotel. This means travelers will have more options for booking a hotel at the best rate available, while Windsurfer Booking Engine customers have a new, free way to drive more bookings. Hotels pay no fee for free booking links, and Google doesn’t collect any payment for placement or user engagement with these links.

Free booking links through Windsurfer Booking Engine include the following:

  • Description of the hotel
  • Room rate for the itinerary selected
  • Hotel class
  • Hotel reviews
  • Address and phone number
  • Links to the hotel website
  • Location information and directions

“Google is the leading search engine with millions of users, and we applaud their efforts to aid the industry’s recovery by increasing exposure and bookings,” said SHR CEO Rod Jimenez. “We know hoteliers today are laser-focused on reducing expenditures and measuring the cost of acquiring customers. By partnering with Google to provide rates and inventory for hotels on the SHR platform, we hope our clients are able to shift more of their bookings to their lowest-cost channels.”

SHR, Sceptre Hospitality Resources, a pioneer of advanced hotel revenue generation technologies, has selected Sandro Christofori as its Business Development Director for the Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, reinforcing the company’s strong commitment to expanding its European presence.

Sandro Christofori

The placement of a versatile hospitality professional such as Christofori for SHR in Europe is seen as key to the company’s continued strong growth, and to its growing global footprint. Prior to SHR, Christofori held the role of Field Sales Account Manager – Central Europe for Infor, Account Manager and Consultant for HRG, and F&B Operations Manager for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

“Sandro brings over several years of solid hotel technology sales experience to the table for SHR, as well valuable hotel on-property experience,” said Drew Rosser, Vice President of Sales for SHR. “Sandro perfectly understands the characteristics and culture of the DACH hotel market and that means he can speak the language of hoteliers and also understand what they need in order to meaningfully improve their distribution strategies and outcomes.”

Last month, SHR rolled out its new Guest Management System, Maverick™ CRM, for hoteliers that want to leverage valuable guest data from their sales channels as well as their property management system. Maverick is part of SHR’s larger vision of the Force10 engine; a combination of tightly integrated, revenue generating applications empowered by artificial intelligence (AI).

In keeping with the company’s mission to simplify the complex world of hoteliers with innovation and superior service, Maverick is set up to deliver more revenue with better management of campaigns and loyalty programs because it provides valuable guest information not currently found in most of today’s CRMs.

SHR, Sceptre Hospitality Resources, a pioneer of advanced hotel revenue generation technologies, has rolled out its new Guest Management System, Maverick™ CRM, for hoteliers that want to leverage valuable guest data from their sales channels as well as their property management system.

“The addition of Maverick to our product portfolio allows us to deliver another well-integrated application in a suite of applications that enables our clients to drive more revenue,” said Rod Jimenez, CEO and Co-Founder of SHR. “We all know that when trying to integrate disparate systems like a CRS and a CRM, full two-way communication is virtually impossible. In Maverick, hoteliers benefit from its integration with Windsurfer, so fields are not lost when data crosses between the two and personalization can happen because guest profiles are more robust.”

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, with offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific, SHR is a leading provider of meaningful technology that helps hotels execute their best revenue generation strategies. With a history of innovation starting with Windsurfer® CRS, SHR serves thousands of properties around the globe with an evolving suite of AI-driven solutions, ranging from high-level distribution to intricate guest management. In addition, the company offers Revenue Management for Hire to brands, chains, and management companies. SHR brings hoteliers nimble, real-world technology, intelligently supported by tested industry experts—keeping hotels competitive.

Maverick, available at ITB Berlin 2020, is the second offering from the company’s growing suite of unique AI-driven hospitality tech solutions. The first, Wave™ RMS, was announced last year, at HITEC.  The two, working together with the Windsurfer® CRS, form the foundation of what the company expects will be a much more powerful way for hotels to maximize the results of their revenue generation activities.

Revenue management technology and services company Sceptre Hospitality Resources (SHR) announced that it has become fully integrated its SHR Windsurfer technology with Duetto’s Rate Engine, providing clients with a loyalty program the ability to set dynamic room rates based off of members’ profile and value to the hotel property.

Duetto is a leading revenue management solution provider with a suite of cloud applications that leverage dynamic data sources and actionable insights into pricing and demand across the hotel. More than 3,000 hotel and casino properties in more than 60 countries have deployed Duetto’s applications, which include GameChanger for pricing, ScoreBoard for intelligent reporting and BlockBuster for contracted-business optimization.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, with offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific, SHR has a history of technology innovation starting with its Windsurfer CRS. Integrated with Duetto’s platform capabilities, SHR’s solution now allow hotels to offer a more personalized experience for loyal guests, including a tailored rate or custom package offer that is beneficial for both guest and hotel. This renders obsolete the age-old process of having to wait until guests check-in, and then offering them a manual discount.

In May, SHR launched its new Revenue Management System, dubbed Wave™ RMS, which combines machine learning with human intelligence to optimize hotel revenue strategies. Created as a result of the company’s alliance with David Moneo and the Spanish AI research team, Algorth, Wave is part of SHR’s larger vision of the Force10 engine, which is a combination of SHR hospitality and technology knowledge, plus artificial intelligence.
